Through the In-Person Leadership Academy in Mali, LCA continues to invest in the next generation of African leaders, young people who are prepared not only to lead themselves but also to inspire others, strengthen their communities, and contribute to a more inclusive and empowered future.

Artificial intelligence is transforming industries across the globe, yet many young Africans still lack access to practical learning opportunities and meaningful mentorship. The AI Challenge was designed to bridge that gap. Over four months, participants immersed themselves in an intensive learning experience that combined technical training, leadership development, mentorship, teamwork, and hands-on innovation.

Leading Change Africa proudly celebrated the graduation of the 2026 Virtual Leadership Academy cohort, marking the successful completion of an eight-week leadership development journey for young people across the continent.
