Leading Change Africa (LCA) recently hosted a transformative Entrepreneurship Conference in Mali as a strategic initiative for community engagement on the 29th of June, 2024. The event aimed to inspire and equip young students and professionals with entrepreneurial mindsets, particularly focusing on the agricultural sector. Participants engaged in enriching panel discussions, presentations, and workshops, including a special session with Ousmane Kabre.
A significant highlight of the conference was the opportunity for a group of young Malians and Burkinabés who had undergone "Foundations for Farming Training" in Rwanda, in partnership with Bridge 2 Rwanda and Crown Financials, to share their experiences with other youth. This session not only provided insights into the training program but also highlighted post-training opportunities available to participants.
The conference aimed to expose LCA's robust resources and programs to students and young professionals, providing essential tools and networking opportunities to foster their personal and professional development. It sought to empower youth in Mali by offering insights into entrepreneurship, agriculture, and leadership.
Vision Expansion:
LCA envisions expanding its impact by engaging with diverse youth and communities across Mali. By providing access to educational resources and leadership development programs, LCA aims to nurture a new generation of leaders who can drive sustainable change in their communities.

The event provided valuable networking opportunities for participants to connect with industry experts, fellow entrepreneurs, and potential mentors. These connections aim to facilitate collaborations and knowledge-sharing that can further enhance entrepreneurial ventures and agricultural initiatives in Mali.
The conference was a resounding success, bringing together diverse perspectives and expertise to explore opportunities in agriculture and entrepreneurship. Participants left with new insights, connections, and actionable strategies to contribute positively to Mali's entrepreneurial landscape. It marked a significant step towards nurturing a new generation of leaders and change-makers in Africa.
