Program Experience

LCA serves as a port of entry for low-income yet high-achieving youth, facilitating access to spaces with traditionally high barriers of entry for young professionals. While not solely a scholarship program, we do offer 2-4 years of financial assistance to eligible scholars within our Post-Secondary program. This support enables scholars to attend institutions within their home country, neighboring nations, or abroad, covering tuition fees, educational materials, and related expenses, allowing them to focus on their studies.

Eligibility for a Leading Change Scholarship is based on academic merit, financial need post-external financial aid awards, and a commitment to active participation in our programs.

Moreover, we provide a comprehensive range of support services to ensure scholars' success. These include academic tutoring, mentorship programs, career counseling, and access to resources such as professional attire for interviews and networking events. Regular check-ins with advisors further ensure scholars receive ongoing support and guidance throughout their academic journey.
