Looking ahead to this year’s Annual Gala, taking place on November 12, 2026, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, having the support of more student volunteers will be a key part of the event's execution. Such opportunities are beneficial for college students seeking to give back, gain hands-on experience in nonprofit work, and expand their personal and professional networks.

Artificial intelligence is transforming industries across the globe, yet many young Africans still lack access to practical learning opportunities and meaningful mentorship. The AI Challenge was designed to bridge that gap. Over four months, participants immersed themselves in an intensive learning experience that combined technical training, leadership development, mentorship, teamwork, and hands-on innovation.

When women have greater access to knowledge and opportunities, they can explore new ways to participate in economic activities, strengthen their livelihoods, and contribute to the development of their communities. The August 1 training is one example of how learning can open the door to new possibilities.
