Youth and the Power of Action – Free Training Conference 2025

On June 28, 2025, Leading Change Africa proudly hosted its highly anticipated conference, “Youth and the Power of Action,” — a dynamic, free training event designed to empower the next generation of leaders with the mindset and skills needed to thrive in today’s fast-paced, ever-evolving world.

Centered around the theme of Organizational Leadership, Financial & Digital Education, the event attracted a vibrant and diverse audience of youth leaders, students, aspiring entrepreneurs, and social changemakers. From start to finish, the conference was infused with purpose, passion, and powerful conversations that inspired young people to take charge of their futures and lead with integrity and innovation.

The day featured interactive workshops, practical training sessions, and thought-provoking discussions, all geared toward helping participants build confidence in leadership, develop financial literacy, and navigate the demands of the digital economy. Whether learning how to manage a budget, start a community project, or leverage technology for social good, attendees walked away with real tools they could immediately apply in their personal and professional journeys.

A highlight of the conference was a deeply impactful keynote session led by our CEO, Ousmane Kabre. In a heartfelt and motivational talk, Ousmane shared his personal journey — from overcoming challenges as a young man with a vision for change to founding and growing a global nonprofit rooted in youth empowerment and equity. His story of resilience, clarity of vision, and commitment to action reminded everyone that leadership doesn’t require perfection — it requires purpose and courage.

The energy in the room was electric, and the feedback from attendees was overwhelmingly positive. Many expressed newfound confidence, clarity, and a stronger sense of belonging within a community of changemakers who believe in their potential.
